General Curriculum:

Program Overview:

• Teacher gives daily assignments to each student, and sets weekly and monthly goals
• Program is tailored to individual student’s demonstrated ability to memorize and retain
• Students are expected to memorize the Qur’an in three years
• Periodic exams conducted to asses student progress
• Low student-teacher allows personalized attention

How Does It Work?

Based on our syllabus of learning 5 pages of the Qur’an per week, completion takes 3 Years. However, when in the initial stages of learning it might take 5 pages per week but this soon develops into 7 pages a week which speeds up the memorization and results in early completion.

• 5 Pages / week = 3 years Completion. (Sooner depending on students ability)

How it Works?
The Secret Ingredient + 3 simple steps

Step 1 - Timetable, Routine

Effort: If we slack, our progress will be slow, if we are on the ball, we will see results. With anything, it will seem hard initially but with the body and mind adjusting and adapting to this Intense program InshAllah we will benefit greatly.

Fajr: Encouraged to memorise 20 minutes before Fajr prayers at home.

Step 2 - Detox and Progression

The classes last 6 hours per week in which 4-5 hours is actual time spent reading, looking and holding the Glorious Holy Qur'an. This not only helps improve the visual memory, the eyesight and the co-ordination of the student; it also benefits the mind, the body and soul. It completely detoxes the person from polluted minds (movies, toxins, music etc.) there are also additional benefits such as the level of intelligence and the taqwa, the maturity and fresh zeal it creates in students.

Step 3 - Revision and Aid

We encourage students to use an iPod/MP3 Qur'an. The MP3 play black aids in pronunciation (Tajweed) and the recitation voice of the Huffaz (Qiraat). Thus, confidence grows and students develop their own styles… set their own targets. It makes a "no-burden-no-anxiety" feel for the student so they can focus on the Hifz fully. We recommend drinking Zamzam and using miswaak regularly in order to help aid with memory improvement.

The Key Ingredients

Everything happens by the will of Allah SWT. The Determination of students, the Love of Qur'an, the Passion, the Drive and the Enthusiasm for the Qur'an are the Key Ingredients. The key is we have to try, and try and then try some more, and when we think we can't do any more, we give it another try and then we see the Help of Allah SWT come. The Key here is that we exert ourselves as much as we can, we put in as much of what we can and then we see Allah's help, even if we don't understand, Allah gives us that (understanding). When we show that we want it, Allah will InshAllah grant it.
"To get a portion of Ilm, we have to give ourselves over fully"
