Ramadhan 1441 - 2020

Dear Community

Ramadhan 1441-2020 will, insha'Allah, begin today evening with the first day of fasting beginning tomorrow - Friday, April 24th.  The first Taraweeh to start tonight, Thursday, April 23rd.

The Masjid will be unable to offer community events such as Taraweeh and Iftaars until May 15th, in accordance with (CT state) requirements.  If these requirements are extended or relaxed, the Masjid will be able to respond with community events/services accordingly.  The date given is of course conditional upon the overall situation at the time, Allah knows best!

While this Ramadhan is different since we are not gathering at our masajid, we encourage you to congregate with your family at home and continue to pray your Taraweeh as Jama'a indoors.  Reciting from the Qur'an during Taraweeh (Qiyaam) is permissable according to the opinion of the vast majority of scholars.
